Description

The aim of this module is to provide the learner with an awareness of the risks associated with working at height and the practical measures that should be employed to avoid, prevent or reduce risk of falls from height. 

This module will cover:
  • Understanding legal obligations and legislative framework.
  • Selecting suitable equipment for various work at height tasks and ensuring safe usage.
  • Understanding the reasoning for safety protocols.
  • Implementing preventive measures to mitigate common accidents.
  • Recognising the importance of equipment inspection and regular maintenance.
  • Identifying risks and conducting effective risk assessments.
On completion of this module, learners will be able to:
