The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the knowledge, tools and resources to successfully deliver an onboarding programme to new members of staff and an understanding of how a good onboarding strategy will make employees feel welcome, valued and enthusiastic about their work and the company they have joined.

On completion of this course learners will be able to:

  • Differentiate between formal and informal onboarding
  • Understand the importance of good planning
  • Outline the key stages of onboarding from recruitment to a year after appointment
