GRCPro looks to raise awareness and skills around the critical topic of Cyber Security. Using a combination of consulting services and focused learning delivery, GRCPro demystifies this topic and helps learners understand how they can take steps to make their engagements more secure.

OBJECTIVES

The requirement was for a training module that could be used for multiple delivery engagements. This meant designing and developing educational material that could be used by a facilitator (face to face or virtually) as well as being able to be used as a stand alone, self led online module.

APPROACH

After discussing and prototyping various approaches, it was decided that eLearning Plus+ would build the module using Microsoft PowerPoint but significantly extend the functionality so that it could be used within an LMS platform as a SCORM module. A high level of graphical development meant that the learners would readily engage with the materials and lift the interest level in what can be a rather dry topic. This meant that the module didn’t have a typical PowerPoint look and feel so as to not switch off learners.

OUTCOMES

  • A highly visual PowerPoint deck that continues to help facilitators engage with their audience
  • The ability to scale delivery outside of the classroom by using exactly the same PowerPoint files as a self contained SCORM module that incorporates voice and interactions to engage learners
